Small hand drum, dried (and stained dark brown?) calabash shell, covered with stretched leather. Leather held on with a row of wooden pegs. Small hole drilled on bottom.
Donor notes that this was given to her by a small Fulani (Peul) boy in the town of Mali in northern Guinea, 1980.
