Female figure, body and head of corn husk, face painted, hair of black cloth, single braid, beaded headband with one feather; blouse, skirt, petticoat, trousers of cloth, ribbon borders and belt, decorated with beads, beaded leather moccasins, corn husk hands. One of a pair with #424929. Purchased for $1.98 by donor at Shawano, WI. Donor's note says: 'Made by Indian woman who lived at Cecil but has now moved away.' Identified as Oneida by Bob Smith (Onieda), Dept. of Anthropology.
