Description from Stejneger in accession file, which is somewhat smudged and hard to read, identifies E175599 - 175610 as "Carvings by Koriaks. Location somwhere south of Anadyr and north of Kamchatka. Presented to me by Mr. Constantine Greenwaldt, 49 Galernaia, St. Petersburg, Russia." "Koriaks" (a.k.a. Koryak) was mistranscribed on catalogue card as Koniaks.
