USED FOR STORING BOOKS, STATIONARY, AND OTHER WRITING PARAPHANELIA, ALSO FOR PLACING ORNAMENTAL OBJECTS. NOTE: ORIGINALLY CATALOGED AS "LACQUERED CASE OF DRAWERS". FROM CARDS: "BLACK LACQUERED SHELF CABINET, DECORATED WITH GOLD AND SILVER MAKIE-(SPRINKLE OR STREWN GOLD OR SILVER DUST) DESIGN IN RELIEF OF FLYING CRANES AND PLUM BLOSSOMS.
