Bron Solyom (see accession file, inventory list with photos) describes this as "kawung with sisik geringsing, Solo style". Cotton fabric, batik dyed. Dark yellow background, with interlocking circles (kawung) and floral patterns in brown and dark blue. Hemmed.

It is unknown exactly where this item was made or collected. It is "Solo style" but could be a copy made (and/or purchased) elsewhere, probably in Central Java.
