Notes:
Cotton fabric, batik dyed. Brown background with white and blue dotted circle-in-square motif (kawung). No borders. Smaller piece is rectangular with one hemmed selvage, other edges cut / unhemmed. The larger rectangular piece has additional strips of matching cloth sewn along both sides. Probably the remnants of a larger project.
It is unknown exactly where this item was made or collected, but most likely was on Java, where Dunham lived and worked
