Still life of fruits and fruit basket, hand embroidered on silk. Framed under glass, with a gold-colored frame. Stored inside a hinged box covered in green Thai silk. A printed note that accompanies the painting says: "Traditional Thai Hand Embroidery on Hand-Woven Thai Silk Material. Theme: A Basket of Thai Fruits (Rambutans, Mangosteens, Guavas, Longans, Durian, Custard-Apples, Papaya, Watermelon, etc.) Original Painting: Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn. Artisans: Support Foundation Trainees. Artistic Specification: Silk threads used in this embroidery were extracted from the innermost core of the silk cocoons which are extremeley soft and refined. Time Consumed: 12 months. [Date:] A.D. 1995"
