Description:
While on the faculty of the department of psychology of the University of Indiana, Sidney Pressey developed this series of compact tests to measure general ability. The four tests, designed for grades 4-12 (ages 10-17), were for the four areas of verbal ingenuity, logical judging, arithmetic, and moral judgment. In the first section (verbal ingenuity) children were to arrange four of the words in a line to form a sentence and cross out the word did not fit.
