<p>”It Might as Well Be Spring” was featured in the 1945, 20th Century Fox musical film, <i>State Fair,</i> directed by Walter Lang and starred Jeanne Crain, Dana Andrews, Dick Haymes, and Vivian Blaine. “It Might As Well Be Spring” won the Academy Award for Best Original Song in 1945. <i>State Fair</i> was the only Rodgers and Hammerstein musical written originally for film.</p>
