Description (Brief):
This sheet music for the song, “O, Darling Tell Me Yes” was written and composed by Alfred Lyons and published by Oliver Ditson Co. of New York, New York in 1903. The song appeared as a supplement to the “New York Herald” on May 17, 1903. The cover features a picture of a couple outside under a tree beside a circular bench around the trunk. Sheet music was so popular during the early 20th century that newspapers inserted them into their Sunday editions to increase circulation.
