Description:
This Barack Obama doll promoted the Illinois Senator’s campaign as the 2008 Democratic presidential nominee. The doll’s shirt featured the Obama logo of a rising sun combined with the letter “O.” Obama defeated John McCain, a Republican senator from Arizona, in the first presidential election where two sitting senators vied for the office. This doll was used as part of the celebration held in Bisbee, Arizona to celebrate President Obama’s inauguration in January 2009.
