2014.76.12.9a: An issue of Black Enterprise magazine, December 1989, Volume 20, No. 5. Underneath the header there is a color image of two children dressed in adult clothes (suit jacket, suspenders, ties, button down shirts) posing next to a desktop computer and keyboard. The young girl sits in front of the computer that has a color bar graph on the screen. The young boy leans on the monitor of the computer. Yellow type on the left side of the front cover reads: [TEACHING YOUR / CHILDREN THE / ABCS OF FINANCE]. The interior pages, 128 in total, are off-white paper with black type, and both black-and-white and color images and drawings. The contents of the magazine include economic articles, tax articles, and advertisements. The back cover is an advertisement for Benson & Hedges cigarettes. The advertisement consists of an image if women, dressed up in gowns. The woman on the left of the image holds a cigarette in her proper right hand.
