Description:
Black Koryo (or iron-black ware)
Vase; maebyong shape. Slight restoration on lip. Three spur marks. Foot and base unglazed.
Clay: buff-colored, fine-grained, soft.
Glaze: Celadon over underglaze iron slip.
Decoration: spray of ginseng leaves on two sides, lightly incised and brushed with white slip through iron slip.
Spurs: shadows of three clay spurs around unglazed footrim.
