Abstract:
The field book is the second of three envelopes and documents C. O. Handley's field work in the Arctic, August 4 - 14, 1946. It includes bird and mammal notes. These include type (scientific name and common name), appearance, colors, and size. Some include sketches of birds. Includes loose inserts. At the end of the notebook are entries with date, location and counts (type and quantities). Locations include Thule, Greenland; Lancaster Sound and Dundas Harbour, Canada.
