Abstract:

Administrative papers and correspondence to and from Joseph Rosewater regarding the International Indian Ocean Expedition in Singapore and Malaysia on the Te Vega. Also included are itineraries, and several pages of a journal in which Rosewater summarizes the events of each day including what was collected and where. Rosewater seems to collect mostly mollusks during this trip. Localities include Loyang [sic] [probably Layang] and the Strait of Jahore [or Jahor].
