Abstract:
The photograph album documents Alexander Wetmore's work in Panama in 1952. Photographs include numbers, date, and caption with description and location. Subject matter includes hills and shorelines of Taboga Island; structures and environs of Barro Colorado; Panamanian staff; Panamanians in daily activities; Perrygo and Wetmore preparing specimens; observed wildlife; and examples of transportation during travels (on the waterways). Locations photographed include vicinity of Taboguilla Island. Includes photographs of Wetmore, Watson M. Perrygo, Harold Trapido, and James Zetek.
