Abstract:
This journal contains eight leaves of notes on Bartsch's field research in Haiti in 1917 and Jamaica in from 25 February to 6 March 1922. A typed note card inserted at first page explaining expenses for chartering boat transportation is included. During his time in Jamaica, Bartsch collects snails in the family Pleurodontidae. Localities include but are not limited to Stray Hill (in Kingston Jamaica), Holly Mount, and Saint Ann.
