Abstract:
This notebook contains more or less daily narrative entries on fish caught during the Philippine Expedition from 24 October 1908 to 19 March 1909. Entries discuss what types of fish were caught, tag numbers, ways the fish were caught, and will sometimes include surface density measurements, measurements of the specimens, and other types of information. Station numbers ranges D5305-D5410. Other numbers, possibly collector numbers, are written next to the name of specimen. These range from J.T. 6996-8402. Might include information about other marine life collected such as oysters. Locations include but are not limited to the following locations in the Philippines: Port Caltan, Linapacan Island, Oyster Inlet (Ulugan Bay, Palawan I., PI), port Pitogo, and Alinango Bay (Burias Iland).
