Station data documents the work completed by Waldo Schmitt during the Smithsonian-Bredin Caribbean Expedition, 1960 [Smithsonian-Bredin Expedition to Yucatan (1960)]. At the top are details about the sailing vessel used, dates, a list of chief participants and their associated organizations, and the Smithsonian accession number. Included below are station numbers, associated date, location, time of day, and depth. Additionally, sometimes information includes descriptions of collecting method, description of environment (i.e. water conditions or nearby commercial installations), types of specimens collected (flora and/or fauna), or collectors. Includes two copies. Locations in Mexico include the vicinity of Progreso in Yucatán; Ascension Bay [Bahía de la Ascensión]; Mujeres Island; Cozumel Island; and Quintana Roo. Collectors include participants Rehder, Schmitt, Bousfield, Daiber, and Haynes.
