This collection consists of field notes of Captain Robert (Bob) A. Bartlett (1875-1946), an Arctic explorer who collected specimens for various museums, including the Smithsonian Institution. These field notes document expeditions to Greenland, Canada, and the Arctic, in which scientists collected birds' stomachs, plankton, fish and other specimens.
