Description:
Poster advertising Cranbrook Academy of Art featuring the façade of a grey building divided into nine squares (three stories containing three windows on each) containing recessed windows. Black and white photographic reproductions appear behind window glass in different colors—yellow on the top row, light orange in the middle row, and pink on the bottom row. Three windows are partially open. Above the building a rectangular block of yellow covered in small black dots appears. Along the top margin, from left to right: “Cranbrook” in black bold text on the upper left, followed by a thin black line, the black text “Academy of Art,” another thin black line, and information about the institution (quotes from Eliel Saarinen, Paul Goldberger, Wolf Von Eckardt; information about financial assistance and admissions; contact information) on the upper right.
