Description:
Two female figures, the figure of Judith at center viewed in three-quarter profile from back, facing the left. She wears a long flowing robe, a curled hairstyle, a long flowing scarf from her hair, and sandals. Her head is cast down and her eyes mostly closed. She holds a large knife or sword in her right hand and the severed head of Holofernes in her left, which she is placing into a bag with a tassel at the bottom. His face, hair, and beard are visible. Holding the bag open is another female figure viewed from the front, who receives the head and looks at Judith; the two women are possibly in conversation.
