Soapbox derby car designers included Guy Cavalli, David Best, Matt Gill,Jim Finnegan, Richard Ross, Glen Carter, Ron Covell, Salvatore Pecoraro, Robert Dhaemer, Kate Delos, Eleanor Dickinson, Martin Fernandez, Bryan Rogers, Mickey McGowan, Penelope Fried and Gary Lichtenstein, Tyrone Head, John Pakis, Works Gallery, Charles Garoian, Ron Jolife, Tom Foolery, Tyler J. Hoar, Darryl Sapien, Ray Saunders. Most of the artists were sponsored by galleries or individuals. The derby cars and events of the derby are described in detail.
