Entries are very sporadic, brief, and written in two different hands - presumably Karl Zerbe and his wife Marion. Primarily they document the Zerbes' daughter Maria's weight and eating habits as a baby. <br>Also includes a few drafts of letters, and sketches, and in the back, lists of financial expenditures. Pasted in are an illustrated menu for New Year's Eve, a photograph of a dining room, and a Valentine.
