Summary:
Rowan, Superintendent of the Section of Paintings and Sculpture, writes to inform Gross that he has been selected to participate in a competition to create a sculpture of a postman for the Post Office Department Building in Washington. <br>Included are diagrams of the niche which would hold the sculpture, and an elevation and floorplan of the room where the sculpture would be installed.
