Summary:
The papers of art dealer Jonce Irwin McGurk measure 8.2 linear feet and date from circa 1893-1946. The collection contains letters, writings, financial records, inventories including works in the collection of Percy A. Rockefeller, photographs, and printed material documenting the sales and appraisals of works of art by private dealer Jonce Irwin McGurk. Among the correspondents are Percy A. Rockefeller, Eli Lilly, Marcella Hartley Dodge, Andrew Mellon, Gustave Weigand, Mrs. E.F. Hutton, Richard H. Pleasants, Francis P. Garvan, Alfred I. Dupont, Mantle Fielding, and others.
