Found are folders of a variety of subjects, each of which there are few materials. It includes brochures and information about various art schools, correspondence and records from Hodges' involvement in the Committee for Dolia Lorian, various personal items (2 framed photographs, 1 framed drawing, 1 engraved initials stamp, 1 napkin ring, 2 pins), a scrapbook of about Lillian Olinsey's teaching career, printed material and notes from travels to Europe and Mexico, and records from the United States Treasury War Bond Art Auction in 1945. Folders are arranged alphabetically by subject.
Use of original papers requires an appointment. Use of archival audiovisual recordings with no duplicate access copy requires advance notice.
The Lillian and Frederick Kiesler papers are owned by the Archives of American Art, Smithsonian Institution. Literary rights as possessed by the donor have been dedicated to public use for research, study, and scholarship. The collection is subject to all copyright laws.
