Scope and Contents:
The collection includes four 90 minute audio tapes of interviews with Mr. Soltoff covering biographical information, education, work experience and professional career. Also included are: The interviewer's handwritten notes summarizing the interviews; and copies "Notes from Misosys", a publication on computer software edited by Mr. Soltoff.

Divided into 3 series: 1) Audio tapes (four) of Roy Soltoff interviews by Jon Eklund, 1983; 2) Notes by Jon Eklund summarizing Soltoff interviews; 3) Publication, "Notes from Misosys", 1983 (six issues) edited by Soltoff.
Biographical / Historical:
This collection is primarily the product of four interviews with Roy Soltoff, a noted microcomputer programmer, conducted and taped in 1983 by Dr. Jon B. Eklund, Curator of Physical Sciences, NMAH.
