Scope and Contents:
Recorded in J. W. Powell's Introduction to the Study of Indian Languages. Contains a vocabulary of Chimariko (pages 241-243), and a series of "Pit River" (probably Achomawi) verbs.
Biographical / Historical:
Date and location of collection supplied from Bureau of American Ethnology-AR 7, page 63, where it states that Curtin collected a vocabulary and other information on the Chimariko from one of the last speakers of the language.
